1968
The idea was born when Gerrit de Bruijne visited America for a study trip where he found the increasing popularity of the potato products such as chips and fries
1971
Foundation of Farm Frites by Gerrit de Bruijne in South Holland where he started making pre-cooked fries in his own farm
1975
First production line in the Netherlands, everything was made manually from peeling the potatoes to the frying stage
1980
Introduction of the first cold storage facility in Holland with a capacity of around 1,000 tonnes
1984
First expansion outside of the Netherlands. Farm Frites purchased a Belgian production site in Lommel where fries were already very popular
1988
Foundation in Egypt as a joint venture between Farm Frites Holland and Kuwait Food Company

Ingredients:
Farm Frites Wedges
Minced beef
Nachos
Canned red beans
Tomato
Cheddar sauce
Jalapeno
Method of preparation:
Deep Fry Farm Frites wedges for 4 minutes or until golden brown
Mix minced meat with tomato cubes and canned red beans
Add nachos in a plate followed by cheddar sauce
Add pre-fried wedges followed by the mix of minced meat, red beans and tomatoes on top
Sprinkle with Jalapeno and add extra cheddar sauce before serving.
Steak Mexican Fries
How To Make Perfect Steak Mexican Fries
Ingredients:
Farm Frites 7mm Fries / upon preference
Steak
Olive oil
Lemon
Cheddar cheese
Tomato
Hot green pepper
Fresh Parsley
Method of preparation
Deep Fry Farm Frites for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown
Prepare Steak according to preference
Add Cheese on fries and take to a pre-heated oven for 3 minutes
Add Steak cubes on Fries and cheese mix
Mix fresh tomato cubes, hot green pepper, fresh parsley with a tbsp. of Olive oil and Lemon juice
Add the mix on top of the plate and serve.
Buffalo Chicken Fries
How To Make Perfect Buffalo Chicken Fries
Ingredients:
Farm Frites 10mm fries / upon preference
Chicken strips
Buffalo Sauce
Cheddar Cheese mix
Ranch sauce
Spring onions
Method of preparation:
Deep fry Farm Frites fries for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown
Deep Fry Chicken strips according to pack instructions
Add fries and chicken strips in a container, and add mixed cheddar cheese on top
Take to a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 3-5 minutes
Add ranch sauce
Garnish with fresh cut spring onions, and serve.
Batata Harra
How To Make Perfect Batata Harra
Ingredients for 4 people:
800g of Farm Frites Wedges
Olive Oil
Garlic
Paprika Powder
Chili Powder
Cumin Powder
Coriander Powder
Fresh Parsley and Coriander
1 Lemon
Method of Preparation:
Deep Fry Farm Frites Wedges for 4 minutes or until golden brown
Add 2 tbsp of Olive Oil in a pan
2 minced garlic
Add Mixed spices of Paprika, Chili, Cumin and Coriander powder
Add fresh parsley and coriander
Add juice of 1 Lemon
Mix well with pre-fried wedges and Serve
Pulled Chicken Fries
How To Make Perfect Pulled Chicken Fries
Ingredients (4 pers.):
800 gr. Farm Frites Fries of Your choice
400 gr. Pulled chicken
100 ml of your favourite sauce (BBQ/Peri Peri/Satay etc)
Mayonnaise
Preparation:
Mix the pulled chicken with the sauce and heat.
Prepare the fries according to the package instructions.
Serve the fries on a plate and add the chicken on top.
Serve some extra mayonnaise on the side.
Pita Nostra
How To Make Perfect Pita Nostra
Ingredients (4 pers.):
250g Farm Frites Fries of Your choice
1 Morrocan bread
16 pieces of falafel For the salad
3 limes
40g of radishes
40g sliced white cabbage
40g sliced carrot
40g sliced paprika
16 coriander leaves
16 mint leaves For the masala mayonnaise
200g mayonnaise
20g yogurt
2g curry powder
2 garlic cloves
20 coriander leaves
Preparation:
Fry the falafel and the fries according to packing instructions.
Salad:
For the salad mix the white cabbage, carrots, paprika, mint and coriander and marinate in the juice of three limes (for some extra flavor, add the zest).
Mayonnaise:
For the mayonnaise, put all the ingredients for the masala mayonnaise in the blender and fully mix it until it’s smooth.
Grill the bread and fill it with the different components.
Then finally cover the filling generously with the fries.
Mitraillette Bread with Fries
How To Make Perfect Mitraillette Bread with Fries.
Ingredients (1 person):
100 gr. Farm Frites (Fries of Your choice)
1 baguette
1 tsp butter
2 small beef burger patties
1⁄2 onion
Ketchup or any other sauce you like
Preparation:
Butter and toast the Baguette.
Cook the onion in 1tsp oil until soft.
Remove onion. Fry beef on medium high-heat for 5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
Spread one side with the sauce of your choice.
Prepare the fries according to the package instructions.
Layer the inside with the onions, beef burger and the fries.
Mexican Fries
How To Make Perfect Mexican Fries.
Ingredients 4 persons:
800 gr. Farm Frites Fries of Your choice
200 gr. minced meat
Chili herbs
100 ml chili sauce
200 gr. red kidney beans
50 gr. corn
2 tomatoes
Spring onion
Sour cream
Nacho chips
Preparation:
Bake the minced meat with chili herbs.
Cut the tomato and spring onion.
mix the chili sauce, herbs, beans, corn and tomato with the minced meat and heat.
Prepare the fries according to the package
instructions.
Serve the fries on a plate and add the sauce
on top.
Decorate with spring onion.
Nacho-style Fries
How To Make Perfect Nacho-style Fries.
Ingredients for 4 persons:
800g of 10mm Fries
2 tomatoes
1 onion
Cajun herbs
8 tbsp. guacamole
Pepper (by taste)
Preparation:
Cut the tomato, pepper and onion.
Prepare the fries according to the package instructions.
Add the Cajun herbs to the fries and mix it.
Serve the fries on 4 plates and divide all other ingredients equally on top.
Beef Stew Fries
How To Make Perfect Beef Stew Fries.
Ingredients for 4 persons:
800g of 10mm fries
600g of Beef stew
Silver Onion
Parsley
Preparation:
Prepare 10mm fries according to the package instructions.
Add the prepared Beef Stew on top.
Garnish with finely chopped parsley and silver onion according to taste.
