The company introduced new planting, harvesting, and post harvesting techniques coupled with machinery integration.The business developed new varieties of potatoes, perfecting growing and harvesting methods. As a result, there are better quality potato crops that can compete with international products whilst sustaining a healthy environment. Our potatoes are 100% Egypt-grown, and we take pride in providing our customers with the best field-fresh products throughout the year to obtain the best product quality.

Manufacturing

In the initial stages of building our factory, Farm Frites Egypt recognized the crucial nature of cutting edge technology in the manufacturing process. The factory was built with an aim to maximize product quality, reduce production wastes, minimize environmental impacts, and control product safety and hygiene. We built our factory based on infrastructure that prioritizes creativity and challenges innovation; with over 150,000 tons of potato fries produced annually in Egypt.

Energy Saving

Changing Refrigeration system for cold store from ferroin to ammonia has allowed us to seize the extra capacity with ammonia refrigeration system & save electricity consumption from stoppage of freon compressors.

Waste Utilization

Potato waste are being sold to animal feed shelters, excess white and grey starch are being sold to Glue production companies. And Oil waste is sold to recycling companies to be used in the production of sustainable biogas, while excess packaging material are sold to recycling companies to be recycled and further utilized.
